Two-way ball valves are used to close the VS224 relief valve so that it can be removed for periodic recalibration without completely draining all nitrogen from the accumulator/accumulator bank. The ball is located between two pre-compressed seals with a floating system, thus ensuring perfect sealing under both low and high pressures.
